You’re not one

to follow instructions

and do as you will.

Your life is like an open book

and you leave nothing

to the imagination.

You always think

it won’t happen to you,

but it does

time and time again.

It’s like you like being

a victim of circumstance

and wearing the banner loud and proud.

Convincing you

is a hard-fought battle.

Your stubbornness always prevails.

Nevertheless, we’re here again.

A simple I told you so would suffice.
