Do you have a PDF file that you’d like to turn into an image? I’ll show you how to convert it into a .jpg or a .png file using GIMP. If you don’t already have GIMP installed on your computer, you can install it for free by going to this site.
Step One: Open GIMP
Step Two: Click on File and Select New to Create a New Image.
Enter the dimensions for your new image and press OK.
Step Three: Select the PDF File You Want to Convert
Go to File Explorer in your computer and drag the desired PDF file into GIMP by clicking on the file and left-clicking on the mouse. Then click on Import.
If necessary, adjust the image’s position with the Move Tool.
Step Four: Click on Image and Select Merge Visible Layers.
You can click on Image at the top or right-click as shown below. Then click on Merge.
Step Five: Click on File and Select Export As.
You’ll name the file and choose to save it as a .jpg or a .png. Then click on Export and you now have a converted image from your PDF file.
